PUMA #DoYou

On Sunday, 6th of November 2016, 1500+ women came together to break a record, to make history.

The Puma #DOYOU Guinness World Records Event commenced at 3pm on the 6th of November at the Jio Garden, BKC. The very first step was registrations where we got wristbands and bright orange tank tops to show we’re a part of the event.

After the registration process, we were led to the “screening area” where they checked if we could stay in the plank position for 60 seconds ( Time required to break the record ). On successfully completing the screening round we were given gold bands that would allow us to cross to “the other side” where the actual event would take place.

After the screening and before the “first attempt” we had loads of time to prance around, click pictures and hog (well not really, gotta remain plank ready).

Before the first attempt, we were briefed about the rules and guidelines

Kalki Koechlin, Sakshi Malik, Priya Pal, Shibani Dandekar and Jacqueline Fernandes, of course, were all there to make this record breaking day truly a memorable one.

The first attempt wasn’t easy, I won’t lie. 60 seconds isn’t a big deal generally but THAT moment was pure torture, the wait to know the results of the first attempt was a bigger torture.

After the first attempt, we had an amazing  Zumba session led by Zumba Queen Sucheta Pal.

The excitement just kept building up and at last, we got the results….WE DID IT!

The happiness and excitement were surreal! To be a part of something so big!

#DoYou was such a lovely initiative by PUMA. Getting so many women together, to accomplish something so amazing.

It was truely a pleasure to be a part of #DoYou and to be a part of #PumaWomen.
